Psychotherapy
Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire & Online
People come to psychotherapy for many different reasons. You may be struggling with something in particular, or you may simply have a sense that something isn't right — that you feel stuck, disconnected or uncertain about where your life is going. Psychotherapy offers an opportunity to slow down and think about what you are experiencing, including thoughts and feelings that may be difficult to put into words.
My approach is psychodynamic and Jungian. We begin with what is happening in your life now, and gradually explore the experiences, relationships and patterns that may be shaping how you feel and relate to yourself and others.
Some things may become clearer as you talk; other things may take longer to understand. I pay attention not only to what you bring, but also to what emerges within the therapeutic relationship. The relationship between us is an important part of the work. It can sometimes help us understand feelings and patterns that are difficult to recognise elsewhere.
Rather than offering advice or ready-made answers, psychotherapy can provide the opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of your experience and to consider what might become possible from there.

If you’d like to take the next step, please feel free to get in touch to arrange an initial consultation. This gives us an opportunity to talk about what has brought you to psychotherapy and consider what might be most helpful for you at this time. You can contact me using the email address below, and I will get back to you.
