ABOUT LUCY LEBRETT
I started Jungian analysis at a time when something in my life had become difficult to make sense of, and I was looking for a way of understanding what I was experiencing.
I went on to work intensively in analysis for many years. It was a profound experience that changed how I understood myself and my inner life. The time and space of the analytic process gave me the opportunity to stay with what was difficult or uncertain, and to see what might emerge and become understood over time.
This experience is at the heart of my work as a psychotherapist. I aim to offer a thoughtful and open space in which we can stay with what is troubling you, and with what emerges within the analytic relationship — including through dreams, feelings, memories and the associations that arise as we work together.
I am a qualified psychodynamic psychotherapist with the BPC and a Jungian analyst with the IAAP.
I have worked in a range of clinical settings in London, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire, as well as in private practice. I am now based in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, where I work with adults in person and online via Zoom.
