Initial Consultation
Therapy will begin with an initial consultation, offering a space to reflect on what brings you to therapy at this time, alongside aspects of your personal history and current concerns. This first session lasts 50 minutes and provides an opportunity to meet me in a confidential and non-judgmental environment, and to discuss the therapy process.

My Approach
From a psychodynamic and relational perspective, emotional difficulties are often shaped by past experiences and unconscious patterns that influence how we relate to ourselves and others. These patterns may repeat in ways that feel confusing or limiting.
I offer a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental therapeutic relationship in which thoughts, feelings, and relational experiences can be explored at your own pace. Rather than offering advice, the focus is on developing understanding and self-awareness, including attention to what emerges within the therapeutic relationship itself.
While the process can at times feel challenging, many people experience therapy as relieving and transformative, supporting lasting psychological change and newfound ways of relating to themselves and others.

Session Information
I offer sessions one to three times per week, either in person in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, or online. Each session lasts 50 minutes and takes place on the same agreed day and time each week. Meeting in this consistent way allows the work to develop over time, including attention to more complex or deeply rooted emotional and relational patterns.
